Pass the USMLE Step 1

Most USMLE Step 1 prep fills you up with more content. More chapters, more flashcards, more practice questions that look nothing like the real thing. You come out knowing a lot and still at risk of failing.

Built To Pass starts somewhere different. It teaches how the USMLE Step 1 is actually built, so you stop losing points on material you already know.

To be clear, this is not a USMLE Step 1 content course, and it is not trying to be. It teaches the strategy that sits on top of whatever you study. And you are not left to figure it out alone: inside the course you build your own USMLE Step 1 study materials as you work through the assignments with your AI Test Coach, so everything you make is specific to your exam.

The method, applied to the USMLE Step 1

Decode the exam

See how USMLE Step 1 questions are actually constructed: what each one is testing and the traps built into the answer choices.

Attack the question

Read the stem correctly, eliminate with intent, and choose the best answer instead of the first one that looks right.

Own the clock

Pace yourself so the timer on the USMLE Step 1 never rushes you into avoidable mistakes.

Perform under pressure

Walk in calm and stay steady on game day, because confidence is built, not born.

Where the USMLE Step 1 is won

Scout it before you study. The USMLE Step 1 has 11 scored areas, and they are not weighted evenly. Reproductive & Endocrine Systems is the heaviest at about 13.8%, then Respiratory & Renal/Urinary Systems at 12.8%. That is where the test is won, so put your prep there first. Human Development is only about 2%, so it does not deserve equal time.

The USMLE Step 1 framework does not publish a single passing score. Confirm the exact score you need with whoever is requiring the exam of you, because the same performance can clear one requirement and fall short of another. Get that number before you build your study plan, not after.

Build your own USMLE Step 1 study materials

Your course comes with an AI Test Coach trained to help you prep for the USMLE Step 1. Ask it to build practice questions, explain a concept you keep missing, or turn your weak spots into a custom study set made for your exam.

This is not a generic chatbot. We set the parameters and build the Built To Pass test-taking strategy right into it, so every question, hint, and study set follows the same system you are learning in the course, tuned to the USMLE Step 1. You get what actually moves your score, not random AI output.

It doesn’t hand you answers. It coaches you through them, so every session turns what you know into points on game day.
